Barkwear By Berlin

Meet the founder.

Shayna first started Barkwear By Berlin as a creative outlet while in school studying environmental science with a focus area in conservation and biodiversity. She was inspired by her dog Berlin, a 2.5 year old aussie x border collie to hand craft dog gear. When she first got Berlin Shayna quickly learned that the mass produced products found in pet stores could not withstand their outdoorsy lifestyle. Not to mention the lack of regulations when it came to minimizing the factories carbon footprint to produce these products. Between classes and taking care of Berlin, she used her educataion to create a brand with two main values; have as little impact on the environment as possible and set higher standards on products circulating in the dog industry. However, BBBs journey is not complete, Shayna is continuously finding ways to limit her environmental impact and how to improve the products that she creates.
